It’s only Tuesday and this week has already been jammed packed full of enough information to keep any PokéManiac ecstatic about the upcoming release of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Following the slow tease of four new Pokémon – Gogoat, Fletchling, Helioptile, and Pancham, respectively- plus the newly unveiled Kalos region, new gameplay footage treated us to the sprawling district known as Lumiose City. Lumiose City will serve as the center hub for the new Poké-region.

Aside from the recent leak of adorable creatures, CoroCoro magazine announced that for the first time ever Pokémon X and Y will feature gameplay breakthroughs such as character customization and Poké-back riding. Pokémon X and Y will also show off several other new Pokémon in the coming months including a Mewtwo variant. Pokémon’s first jump into the third dimension is sure to have many more surprises coming our way before it’s tentative release date of October 2013.
