Feast your eyes on this exclusive first image of Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel, the warrior elf in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.Tauriel is one of many invented characters that Jackson brought into The Lord of the Rings saga and she doesn’t hold the same class status as some of the other elves from the books and movies.
