Love Is Louder…

Love Is Louder…
Elvia

Love Is Louder than ________________.

… than the worries that keep us up at night. Instead of stressing, think of the 1 good thing you can do tomorrow.

… than competition. Sometimes being the best means looking out for the people around you.

… than the weight on our shoulders that makes it hard to keep moving.

… than the darkness and doubt of the world.

Love Is Louder was started by American actress Brittany Snow, The Jed Foundation (the organization aims to prevent suicide and reduce emotional distress), and MTV to build on the outpouring of support online after the lives of multiple teenagers were lost to suicide in September 2010.

The movement strives to amplify the momentum of other inspiring online campaigns and invite anyone who has felt mistreated, misunderstood or isolated into the conversation. Love Is Louder hopes to raise the volume around a critical message — that love and support is more powerful than the external and internal voices that bring us down, cause us pain and make us feel hopeless!

The more voices that join the movement, the louder the message becomes. #LoveIsLouder.

GET INVOLVED:

Anyone can raise the volume on the Love Is Louder movement by joining in the conversation on Facebook and Twitter*, or by uploading a brief video (30 seconds or less) at http://your.mtv.com – telling the world what they believe Love Is Louder than.  {Make sure to tag your video with #LoveIsLouder!}

You can also support the Love Is Louder movement by purchasing their $25 t-shirts from their online store, or spread the message with the $10 roll of 50 stickers.

I initially heard about this from Gurl.com (an online community for teenage girls) through their “Win a Rock & Republic Gift Bag” sweepstakes and instantly fell in love with the mission of the organization! It always fascinates me how one ordinary every day moment leads to an extraordinary moment or find.

Love Is Louder than life!
